Suri Sherman
Chief Executive Officer
Suri Sherman is the CEO of MemorAmp, leading the company’s development of nanotechnology-based rapid biosensor testing devices. With a background in chemistry, engineering, and sustainability, he has managed research and operations in nanotechnology and biomaterials, including work on biodegradable polymers and targeted drug delivery systems. His research on nanoscale adhesion has been published in the Journal of Nano Research, and his work on sustainable materials was featured by NPR.
Dr. Ratnesh Lal
Scientific Founder & Advisor
Dr. Ratnesh Lal is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, and Bioengineering at UC San Diego, with expertise spanning physics, neuroscience, and nanotechnology. His pioneering research in high-resolution imaging and amyloid biology has advanced understanding of Alzheimer’s and related diseases, leading to a drug currently in clinical trials in Europe. He has authored numerous publications in Science, PNAS, and Nature, and his work has been featured in TIME magazine. A Fellow of AAAS and AIMBE, Dr. Lal holds multiple patents in nano-biosensors and serves as Founder and Chairman of Ampera Life and other biotech ventures.
